SWIMMING

The British Swimming Judges Qualification pathway is set out so volunteers can become qualified to become technical officials for Swimming. The Pathway can either start as a Club Timekeeper, or as a Judge Level 1. The Judge Level 1 also incorporates the role of a timekeeper. From the Judge Level 1, a technical official can develop to then become a qualified Judge Level 2, a Starter (J2S) and finally a Referee.
The first stages of the pathway are now done through an online theory course, followed by practical experience and sign off.
