As you are aware this is a test event at the new Harvey Hadden Sports Village in Nottingham. With this we have had to put restrictions on the competition that we would not normally do. Some of these restrictions have been put in to try and help us conform to licensing regulations, and others are from the council as this is a test event.
However, we are glad to say that we have been able to accept all of your entries that you have submitted.
A list of provisional entries can be found here
We have also had a couple of requests for disability swimmers to take part in the event. Originally we had reservations regarding including disability as we had not seen the venue and we had concerns regarding space. However, as some of us on the committee have been lucky enough to visit the pool we have been able to review our situation. Therefore we have alocated a maximum of one heat of disability entries in each event. Thesefore if you have any disability swimmers that would like to take part, please email me by midnight on Sunday with entry details. I will then confirm these entries with you on Monday. Please note that we will not be able to accept any entries after Sunday night.
There will be a few announcements regarding Harvey Hadden, where to go when you arrive with regards to swimmers, coaches and spectators and also some restrictions that have been put on us by the council for the venue. These will be announced via the website over the next couple of weeks in the run up to the Summer Gala.
