It is with great sadness that we have to inform you of the passing of “Sir” Allen Urch MBE.
Allen was a very familiar face around the poolsides of Nottinghamshire until recent years and also a long standing coach at Sutton Swimming Club in excess of 60 years.
Allen has been missed from poolside in recent years after he took a well earned retirement. Sadly Allen passed away on Sunday and his family have asked us to share this sad news with everyone.
Our thoughts are with his family at this very sad time.
Allen’s funeral will be held at Mansfield Crematorium on Friday 18th August at 13:15
