Aquatic Helper Workshop

There is a free of charge Aquatic Helper workshop running at SportPark in Loughborough on Thursday 23rd January, from 6-9pm.

The Aquatic Helper course is aimed at those 14 years and over who have an aquatic background and are interested in helping experienced teachers or coaches on poolside, at their club or during swimming lessons. It is an ideal opportunity for young people who are undertaking their Duke of Edinburgh award or those who wish to go on to take their ASA/UKCC Level 1 Award in Teaching or Coaching. This interactive workshop provides an overview of the basic skills and knowledge young leaders or volunteers require when helping on poolside.

Following on from this theory session candidates will need to complete some practical work which can be done through their club.
