Nottinghamshire ASA will be holding an SGM on Saturday 18th July at Harvey Hadden starting at 10 am.
Reason for the SGM: Management Board Appointments required for the following roles:
- General Secretary
- Welfare Officer
- Development Secretary
- Swimming Secretary
- Communications Officer
- Volunteer Coordinator
- Elected Representative (Club Representative)
At present the board is not quorate and is unable to operate so it is essential for these roles to be filled for County activity to be maintained.
Should any member wish to be nominated for any role advanced nominations should be sent to: to county.chairperson@notts-swimming.co.uk with position, nominee, proposer and seconder.
The County will also accept nominations from the floor with the correct support.
Only the above matter can be heard at the SGM as per the Counties constitution.
As defined by the Counties constitution the Council is made up of the following:
8.1. The members of the Council shall be;
8.1.1. Each club affiliated to the Notts ASA who shall be entitled to send three delegates, (Please note any delegates must hold Swim England membership of the club)
8.1.2. The President and President elect,
8.1.3. The Past Presidents of the Notts ASA who are still in membership of an affiliated club,
8.1.4. The Life Members of the Notts ASA.
8.2. A Council meeting shall be quorate when at least twenty delegates are present who represent more than a third of the clubs entitled to attend.
