 Georgia has progressed through the squad system and has made steady progress over the last few years. This season all her hard work has come to fruition and she has emerged as one of Great Britain's most exciting young backstroke prospects. Georgia made the final at the Commonwealth Trials in Sheffield after posting a qualification time for the European Junior Championships. At these championships in Helsinki Georgia improved again finishing in 4th place with a personal best time in the final under considerable pressure. She then came back home to swim in the National Youth Championships where she took gold in the 16/17yrs 200m backstroke and bronze in the 100m backstroke. | | |
